REVEREND PAULIE WATKIN

Vicar of the Tadcaster Benefice

Reverend Paulie is the Vicar of the Tadcaster Benefice. Ordained within the Diocese of Chelmsford in 2008, Rev Paulie studied at Westcott House and obtained their theology degree from Cambridge University. Paulie is passionate about inclusion, kindness, and would love to welcome you along to any of our services, any time!

TRICIA WEST

Reader

As one of our Readers, Tricia plays a crucial role in the spiritual life of the Tadcaster Benefice. Tricia wears several hats within Benefice life including leading worship and preaching. Tricia is also the Eco-Church champion for the Benefice. Currently, Tricia is our Benefice administrator, so if you have any queries she will be the friendly face who deals with them.

STEVE WEST

Reader

Having served as a Reader since 2014, Steve contributes towards the musical life of the Benefice, as well as leading worship and preaching. He also officiates for some funeral services and assists families in preparing their children for baptism. Steve is married to Tricia.

VALERIE SIMPSON

Recognised Parish Assistant & Wedding Coordinator

Val is a Recognised Parish Assistant (RPA). She leads worship and is a pastoral visitor to homes and hospitals. She is also the Benefice Wedding Coordinator, having special responsibility for helping couples throughout the journey to their special day.

JANE MCGUINNESS

Recognised Parish Assistant & Safeguarding Lead

Jane has been a Recognised Parish Assistant (RPA) at St Mary's Tadcaster since 2013, helping to lead services, deliver intercessions and plan worship services. Jane is also the Safeguarding Lead for the Benefice, and her details can be found under the Safeguarding tab.
